Ways to be involved...
We are sorry to announce that our 2026 team reached it's capacity. We started our waitlist in record time and took more athletes than we've had in the past. But unfortunately, we simply cannot handle the amount of athletes who were interested.
But just because you're not training with us this spring/summer, doesn't mean you can't be involved in summer track.... you can still compete in all of the same track meets.
Here's how....
Summer Track
Anyone can participate in summer track meets as an "unattached athlete". You can compete in all of the same events, but you just won't have "OTM Track Club" next to your name when it appears on the leader board :) Check out this webpage for unattached athletes that shows, step by step, how to find and register for track meets. When you're at the meets, feel free to come find our tent if you have questions or just want to hang out in between events.
11th Annual 5K Race for
Serving You @ The Grace Place
Saturday, April 25
The Grace Place is one of OTM's ministry partners and they are hosting their annual 5K and fun run on Saturday, April 25th in McCalla. It's a great race for an even greater cause. You can participate for a special rate of only $10! Click here to download, print, and mail the registration form.
OTM Mary Birdwell Memorial Meet
Sat, May 30
OTM will be hosting a track meet at Hoover High School at the start of the season. We stress to all of our officials that this is the first meet for a lot of athletes, so they are encouraged to show extra grace and help guide the athletes if they are new. This is a great meet to try an event for the first time or to compete in as a seasoned athlete! And the best news is that it's right here in Hoover, open for anyone to compete. Additionally, if you have a high school student interested in earning community service hours, they can volunteer to help. Just send us an email and we can get you volunteer information.
